I find this photograph fascinating - thank you for posting. The matter-of-fact semi-circle of listeners, the chairs next to Drake and his friend (set out for someone else?), the baggage of it being a picture of Nick Drake, the post-war slab in the background... I could go on!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. It is very symbolic, recalling the time when he didn't get much attention whatsoever..as you can observe most of the people not paying attention to the guys, but to something behind. Also I love the way the shadow of the building falls on him - quite peculiar as well.
